Troop 111 offers a troop experience each month of the year. It is expected that each patrol will plan additional activities that meet the needs of the patrol. This allows the patrol members to use the "patrol method" to plan activities that their patrol members need for advancement, learning experiences or just to have fun.

Several Troop members belong to the local Order of the Arrow (OA) Lodge (Quinipissa Lodge #479) and attended its many functions.
